We’ve been flat out at Styles over the summer months, working through the heat to install brand new composite doors, uPVC and aluminium windows, and conservatories in Somerset and Wiltshire. Read on to take a look at our previous and recent jobs!
Window and doors installations for builders
Styles regularly collaborate with local builders in Frome, Westbury, Trowbridge, and Bath on projects like renovations and new-builds.
We all know how stressful renovating is. You’ve got a million and one different problems on your mind. You have to sort, plastering, electrics, plumbing, carpets, flooring, and more.
“What if the cost exceeds my budget?”
And that’s before you’ve found somewhere else to stay while the work is ongoing.
Leave your doors and windows with us, that’s two fewer things for you to worry about.
At Styles we aim to create and deliver outstanding home improvements with unparalleled levels of quality and service at an affordable price.
Repairing windows
Our sister company Windowizz operates speedy window repairs in Westbury and nearby towns and villages. Trapped moisture is a problem we fix quite often, with a property in Westbury Leigh, Wiltshire experiencing this (pictured).
Many homeowners are unaware of the problems moisture inside a window pane poses to your health and choose to not do anything about it. It can lead to room-side dampness, allowing mould and mildew to grow.
Don’t let a minor window wear and tear lead to respiratory issues. Call Styles or Windowizz for fast response times and a free, no-obligation quote.
Patio door installations during the summer heatwaves
Naturally, all forms of patio doors were incredibly popular over the summer. Pictured is a VEKA uPVC sliding door installation we completed in Coleford, near Radstock, back in August, while the heat was blistering!
Sliding doors, bi-folding doors, and French doors are the perfect way to create a seamless transition from kitchen, dining room, or living room, to garden or patio. This soaks your home with natural light and allows in a cool breeze. The weather may be dropping sharply, but early preparations for next summer will ease your mind come spring!
Upgrading single glazing to double glazing
With winter fast approaching, homeowners with period properties and heritage homes with single glazing are looking to upgrade. Double glazing installations will improve thermal insulation in your home and help you save on energy bills.
All uPVC and aluminium windows we install at Styles of Bath are at least a-rated for energy efficiency, with some A+ and A++ models.
For the best thermal insulation, we recommend the R9 and R2 from the Residence Collection, with 9 internal chambers. A chamber in a window is a hollow air pocket, acting as a barrier that will slow down heat transfer and improve thermal insulation.
